Ford Chapel RV Park is located just off loop 287 in Lufkin, TX.

Looking for some outdoor family fun? Check out the Angelina National Forest surrounding the Sam Rayburn Reservoir. The 5 1/2 mile Sawmill hiking trail will take you along an old tramway, portions of old bridges, and the sawmill ruins.
Lake Sam Rayburn is one of the Lufkin area's most popular attractions. This 114,000-acre lake is a popular spot for some of Texas's legendary bass fishers. Media Bass hosts several fishing tournaments here throughout the year.
Sam Rayburn Lake's 600 miles of shoreline will also give you plenty of places to launch your boat, camp, hike, birdwatch, or picnic.
The Angelina County Benefit Rodeo each spring attracts some of the biggest names in rodeo like 12-time Rodeo Entertainer of the Year, John Payne, the one-armed bandit; 6 time Rodeo Clown of the Year Keith Isley, and a group of the most talented cowboys and cowgirls from the PRCA & WPRA.
